Two government schools situated on a sprawling 1.52-acre campus are undergoing a transformation that emphasizes sustainability and striking aesthetics. A heritage boys school is being meticulously restored to its former glory, while the 20+ year old Ghatjai girls school is receiving a dramatic renovation. The girls school will feature a bold, brutalist facade of exposed brick and concrete, designed to maximize natural light and ventilation through passive design strategies.
